Amigo recovering at Highland Park Animal Hospital

Meet Amigo!

Just one look at Amigo and you'll have the same reaction as our office staff, "Can we keep him??" Amigo is currently on the injured reserve list, but the training staff is confident he will back on the field in the next month. After suffering a devastating ACL tear while at spring training camp, the SPCA sent this Hard Luck Hound to Highland Park Animal Hospital for surgical repair by Dr. John Vandermeer and Dr. Amanda Henry. Rehabiliatation has progressed as expected; Amigo remains on schedule as the doctors are anticipating this year-and-a-half old terrier mix to be back on the field in time for opening day of football season. Amigo has a long life ahead of him and is looking for a loving, caring family he can grow with. He has been neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. We are relying on you to get the word out to help Amigo find a home where he can finally live the life he deserves. He has cleared waivers and will be an unrestricted free agent, ready for adoption, when the September 7th window opens. For more information about Amigo, please call Highland Park Animal Hospital at (214) 528-3360.
