With more than 12 years of experience in professional pet care, Matt brings a unique blend of knowledge, skill, and passion to Canine Country Club and Wellness Center. Before joining the team, he served as a General Manager at PetSmart and taught reptile handling and restraint skills to third-year veterinary students at Texas A&M’s Small Animal Clinic. He even cared for the famous rattlesnake at the Dixie Chicken in College Station.
Matt entered the pet care field out of a genuine love for animals of all kinds. As Kennel Technician and Property Management Supervisor, he enjoys combining his passion for animals with his love of hands-on work. Outside of work, Matt’s hobbies include blacksmithing, woodworking, and spending time outdoors studying ecology and biology—a lifelong interest since childhood.
