Dr. Heather Vargo, a native of Dallas, and has always been interested in animals as her passion for pets started at the early age of 5.
Dr. Vargo graduated with honors in Biomedical Science and in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2008. She practiced veterinary medicine for 6 years in San Antonio before becoming a part of our team in 2014.
Dr. Vargo is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Feline Veterinary Medical Association, and Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests are Cardiology and Dentistry. In 2024, she completed her certification to become a Certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian and is also Fear Free certified.
At home, she has one Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Louie), a boxer (Addie) and two cats (Vesper and Q).
